ELEVATE PROGRAM

In 2018, we began the Elevate program. It’s main objective is to enable people make a saving from the products we were availing to them on a repayment model they could sustain. We offered them energy saving wood and charcoal burners, solar lanterns and water tanks. The arrangement was that they would pay off for these items with the money they would save e.g. money from buying kerosene, charcoal or water. As this takes place and it multiplies, our vision is to see people get lifted up from the poverty cycle and start living a dignified life.

Therefore WLA is not only interested in having a successful business model in the solar energy sector, it also wants to touch the lives of those who are in need and are less fortunate in African societies.
